Happy Friday Everyone!
Just a quick reminder, there are just a few days left to sign up for our NSAF Christmas Challenge a fitness and Nutrition Challenge starting next Monday. I am super excited, and will be also participating. Last time I ran this challenge, I lost 8lbs, felt amazing and got significantly stronger. Since having Jameson almost 6 months ago, I have made a ton of progress in losing the baby weight – and I feel like this is the perfect time to kick my workouts into high gear, as well as getting my nutrition in check through the Holidays. The challenge starts December 4 and continues up until Christmas Day, and is just $40. I have some VERY fun prizes for the winner, which I will be announcing soon.
Speaking of nutrition… I wanted to mention a few favorites which I have been obsessed with lately…
My first is Strawberry-Banana Fuel for Fire . These “fuel packs,” are so tasty and provide an awesome source of healthy protein (10g) and carbohydrates… perfect for before, or after your workouts. They come in pouches, which make them quick and easy. Some people compare them to, or call them “baby food,” but I think thats simply because of the packaging. The strawberry-banana was a limited edition flavor, and is absolutely worth a try. If you are interested in a sample, let me know! We also have Banana Cocoa, Coffee, Sweet Potato and Apple, and Tropical.
My other favorite is a new item I am selling… RXBars … These are a protein bar with a very simple recipes… They have tons of flavors and I am happy to now be offering Peanut Butter, Maple Sea Salt, Chocolate Sea Salt, Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Coconut. There are a few others and all offer high quality ingredients (based with Egg White Protein) and sweetened with Dates. They are similar to lara bars, but they actually offer 12g of protein vs the lara bars which only have 2-6g. I really cant say enough good things about these bars.. I have been searching for a nice supplemental snack for a long time, and other than fuel for fire, this is the only one I can really say I have TRULY enjoyed.
Last… Flash Chilled Coffee with Almond Milk… Maybe it’s because I am sleep deprived because of a teething 6 month old – or maybe because it is just DELICIOUS – but I love it. The flash chilling process allows for all the flavor of the coffee to to be brewed hot, and the flash chilling stops the process fast enough to keep from it getting too Acidic. Its like the baby of a delicious full bodied hot coffee, and a smooth cold brew had a baby. I’ve been loving Little Wolf Coffee in Ipswich, MA… Especially the Abi Ari, and Alto de Cruz… I highly recommend you checking them out.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by…. How are you planning on staying fit for the holidays? Already planning your New Years Resolutions? How about your Christmas Fitness Wishlist? Comment Below!!!
